Adhesion promoter and/or (in)organic adhesive
The adhesion promoter or chemical bridge is used as a bonding or adhesive layer to improve adhesion. They are mainly used on surfaces that are hard to bond or in applications that are very demanding in terms of moisture and heat resistance. The adhesion promoter can also serve as a barrier protecting the surface against water or other external elements infiltration, and therefore can also greatly increase its resistance to ageing and permanent adhesion to the surface.
Materia Nova offers the development of tailor-made organic adhesives with specific functionalities (reversible adhesion, thermal stability, etc.) adapted to the nature of the substrate.
The development of inorganic or hybrid sol-gel adhesives that can be used in extreme conditions.
Our strengths
- Several surface treatment technologies are available and can be coupled with cleaning and surface preparation processes.
