High quality CEramicLIke coating with low thermal curing: innovative formulation and application technique
The objective of this project is the development of a controlled application system for sol-gel nanoceramic coatings. To achieve this objective, it will be necessary to study, in terms of cost per square metre and in terms of production speed, which method (immersion, spraying or electrostatic techniques) is best for the industry, while ensuring the quality and uniformity of the deposited film as well as the characteristics (corrosion resistance, scratching, etc.) required so that the amount of material used and, in general, all the parameters of the process are controlled and improved.
Objectives and missions of Materia Nova
Obtaining high-performance sol-gel coatings with rapid densification at low temperatures is one of the most important challenges of the project for Materia Nova.
Materia Nova will bring its expertise and know-how in support of ESIX to offer solutions that meet the specifications of its clients.
