The objectives of the BIOntier project are to:

develop sustainable and circular biocomposites, with a biosourced content greater than 95%, with high performance for multi-sector applications.
establish a strong alliance and a holistic, integrated, industry-focused platform
increase CBE JU’s strategic priorities and Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) and support the acceleration of its established pace of industrialization.

Materia Nova will be in charge of the development of bio-sourced flame retardants and the characterization of the flame retardant properties of the material.
