Surface treatment in aeronautics: from innovative technology to implementation

Promosurf, the VOM working group, in collaboration with A3TS in France, is organising a study day to take you to the heart of innovation in the aeronautics industry. The main theme of the day will be to demonstrate, through industrialised innovations, the key stages in their implementation in a demanding sector, where strict standards and legislative constraints are omnipresent.
This hybrid event will take place in two locations: live at Sonaca, Gosselies (Belgium), and streaming from the Hotel Diana in Molsheim (France), enabling participants to take part and share in the moment in real time via videoconferencing.
At 9.30am, Mireille Poelman, Business Developer at Materia Nova, together with Donatienne Ghysselinckx from Sonaca, will present the latest results of the Cleansky STELLAR project – Development of anti-contamination solutions to preserve laminar flow on the leading edges of aircraft wings.
The event will be followed by a tour of Sonaca’s facilities.
